In practical terms, our objectives are to facilitate the taking part in making music by:
- helping to establish and/or providing funding and/or advice to facilitate the establishment of sessions for musicians and aspiring musicians to meet and play together.
- providing and making available loan instruments to try out and use in the sessions.
- offering bursaries for loan/purchase of musical instruments to talented but impecunious applicants
- offering funding and/or practical support to those wanting to set up bands/singing groups where there is hardship, lack of resources/facilities/experience or the like.
